This map represents visually the terrorist attacks in Africa from 1998 to 2017 (ACLED – Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project) The main concentrations of attacks of the principal perpetrators (Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, among others) are represented with the strongest colours on the map. The red pinpoints identify the locations of our partner institutions, while the blue pinpoints show the areas of research concentration of the co-applicants and collaborators.
